PRINCETON STRONG news – Princeton University Communication report 8.06.2019 – Princeton, NJ: World-renowned writer and Nobel laureate Toni Morrison, the Robert F. Goheen Professor in the Humanities, Emeritus, at Princeton University, died Monday, Aug. 5. She was 88. In 1993, Morrison became the first African American to be awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature.
